This is the French table at the festical. They had lots of fruits and other foods that looked delicious!
These girls were doing some type of dance, though I'm not sure exactly what kind. It appeared to be some Indian or other Asian style. They seemed like they were really enjoying getting to perform for so many people.

A Day of Means

The International Festival was a lot of fun.I have attended several of these festivals over my collegiate career but this one had a little more flair. It was a rainy day so they moved the festival inside which bunched all of the tables up. Bunching all of the many different cultural tables together really did the festival justice by working with the main idea behind this festival: unity and knowledge. The International Festival showed that people are willing to work together to attains a desired outcome. It was especially poignant given that on this day the largest manhunt on American Soil was taking place.

The international festival was a very interesting experience.  The French booth was a realistic french market, and French students were able to purchase fruit and other foods as if they were actually in France.  Each nation had something different to offer.  There was seemingly unendless amounts of food!  One thing I thought was interesting was that there was a Native American table.  We don't always think of Native Americans as a separate country, but really they are their own nationality (though of course they are still modern Americans).  The image I took was a dream catcher, one of the Native Americans traditions.
